This week, last year, Jakob and I were embarking on a life changing move across country.
From born and raised Southern California kids, we moved to South Carolina.
We packed a trailer with “whatever we could fit”, and our family hit the road.
This was the biggest adventure we embarked on, and while it has had its challenges, it has been well worth it.
To be adventurous is to take risks.
It is allowing the possibility of fall or failure, and taking the leap either way.
To be adventurous is to allow your heart and head to join in making life’s decisions.
Adventure is a venture into the unknown.
It is not allowing fear to keep you from trying, but allowing hope to broaden your horizons.
Adventure is going to look different throughout the various seasons in your life.
It can be a road trip across country or taking a new route to work.
It can be overcoming a fear or trying a new recipe.
The level at which you are adventurous, does not matter.
What matters is that you get out and experience all that life has to offer.
I dare you to go find your adventure.
