To Be Someone

There are a lot of people in our world.

Our world is a beautiful mosaic; every individual adds their own individual piece to the beauty and uniqueness.

To be “someone” is a broad statement, but it tends to naturally have a connection with “importance”.

Allow me to clarify.

We are ALL important.

ALL of us individuals, contribute to the this life as a whole.

To be someone, is to contribute your individuality and recognize others as individuals. We all have different gifts, beliefs, and ideas to bring to the table.

Be someone who acknowledges differences in love.

Be someone who conquers the challenges faced before them with grace and humility.

Be someone who does not become easily offended by the little things, but instead makes changes in their own life as to not become offensive, or abrasive, to others.

You have the ability to add positivity to the world versus feeding in to the negativity.

Did you see that horrible video of that horrible person doing that horrible thing being shared all over the internet last week?

It is sad that I do not even have to be specific and I am sure you already have a video or scenario in mind.

Let me ask you something…

If it is so negative, why are you allowing it to go viral.

Let’s not be the source in which the trash is spread.

I’d like to get personal now.

When starting The b. Dare, I told myself not to get discouraged through the process.

I would not allow “only having ____ followers” to bring me down.

Instead, I would be excited for even one person, namely myself, to be moved by these words.

I would contribute my two cents, whether others would follow along or not.

I am determined to be someone I am proud of.

I dare you to be someone you are proud of.

I dare you to encourage others through your actions.

YOU ARE IMPORTANT.

Allow that to drive you to become the someone you want to be known for.

Follow along all week
